Veris Joins 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance 2016

Veris Manufacturing September 11th Day of Service

September 2016 – On the morning of Friday, Sept. 9th a team of Veris volunteers joined an ongoing week long event focused on "Remembrance through Service" with the Orange County Rescue Mission. This project was to provide food, comforts, and shelter to Veterans and homeless in need. Volunteers were broken into groups of packers to assemble hygiene and food boxes, preppers to prepare food and dining areas, and beautifiers to enhance the facility or do landscaping. Our team (pictured right) was happy to give their all for a great cause.

The Orange County Rescue Mission is the county's largest privately funded human services agency for the poor and homeless. The Mission currently provides assistance in guidance, counseling, education, job training, shelter, clothing, health care, and independent living communities.
