Veris Manufacturing participants in Operation Gratitude

April 22, 2016 – On April 22nd Veris Manufacturing joined the ranks of those who have put their support for the troops into action through Operation Gratitude. A team of 12 employees went to support Operation Gratitude and produced 257 Paracord "Survival" Bracelets, which and be used to hold up to 550 pounds. The bracelets not only look cool but can also be unraveled in an emergency situation to provide 7.5 feet of strong rope if needed, as well as a number of other potentially life-saving functions.

Operation Gratitude is an organization that annually sends more than 200,000 care packages to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in harm’s way, to their children left behind, and to new recruits, veterans, first responders, wounded warriors, and their care givers. The care packages include things often missed such as snacks and entertainment, as well as handmade and utility items, all intended to lift the spirits of these U.S. Service Members. Operation Gratitude is funded entirely by private donations and also provides hands on volunteer opportunities, for more information see
